Hi, I’m Sarah — and Get Tips For Better Life started with a simple frustration: most health content online is either written by someone selling you something without saying so, or by a clinical source that never actually explains what it’s like to deal with a condition day to day.
This site sits in between. Every article here is written from personal experience — trying something, tracking what actually happened, and being honest about what worked, what didn’t, and what’s genuinely uncertain. Where a product is mentioned, that relationship is always disclosed clearly, and claims are checked against what actual medical research and clinical sources (like Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and peer-reviewed research where available) say — not just what a product’s marketing page claims.
How We Approach Health Content
- Personal experience first. Articles describe real outcomes, including when something didn’t work as advertised.
- Claims are checked. Where a product makes a claim (“removes,” “cures,” “eliminates”), we compare that against what medical literature actually supports, and say so directly when there’s a gap.
- Medical emergencies are flagged clearly. Every article includes guidance on when a symptom needs a doctor or urgent care, not a home remedy.
- Monetization is disclosed. This site earns commissions on some product links. That’s stated at the top of every article that includes one, not buried in fine print.
What This Site Is Not
This is not a medical practice, and nothing here is a substitute for care from a licensed doctor. We’re not doctors, and we don’t diagnose or prescribe. If something you read here doesn’t match what your doctor tells you, trust your doctor.
